Only five SAPs and three C/TPAs are listed per state, so listings stay meaningful for the drivers and employers searching them. Here's what it takes to qualify and apply — for both roles. See subscription plans.
Eligibility
Hold one of the qualifying credentials.
Have completed SAP qualification training and the current SAP examination.
Be current on continuing education requirements for SAP requalification.
Be actively practicing and available to take on DOT return-to-duty evaluations.

To serve as a SAP, you must hold a qualifying credential: a licensed physician, psychologist, social worker, marriage and family therapist, EAP professional, or a certified addiction counselor.

Keeping your profile complete and up to date makes it easier for drivers and employers to find and contact you directly.
How do I update my directory profile? Once you have an account, you can update your member profile with changes to your contact information, credentials, practice information, website, bio, and other available profile details. Your directory listing is connected to your DOTSAPs.org account, making it easy to keep your public information current.
How much does it cost to be listed on the directory? DOTSAPs.org offers SAP & C/TPA directory listings through a paid membership. Your membership provides you with a public profile in the directory and access to applicable member features and resources. The current cost is $9.99 a month for SAPs and $49.99 a month for C/TPAs. Because the directory limits the number of available listings in each state, listing availability may vary by location. Once a state's available listings are filled you may need to wait for an opening.
