My name is Tommy McCann. I’m a therapist, DOT-qualified SAP, Certified Employee Assistance Professional, and co-owner of HM Behavioral Health. I also spent several years working as an EAP for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. Site Background
DOTSAPs originally started as a simple website for my own SAP services. As my work shifted and I began conducting fewer SAP evaluations, I started thinking about what else I could do with a site that was already focused on the Return-to-Duty process. With recent changes affecting drivers without a current employer, expanding it into a SAP and C/TPA directory seemed like a much more useful direction.
Transparency
Most SAPs have probably noticed the growing number of new directory and lead-generation websites reaching out to providers. DOTSAPs is not a lead-generation company and there is no call center behind it. Drivers and employers can contact listed providers directly. I do not sell or distribute leads. If a driver or employer reaches out to me directly, I will always give them the contact information of the SAP or C/TPA closes to their location.
